From practical experiences: What questions do external MOXIS guest users have about digital identity and jobs in general?

Content

MOXIS Guest is our environment for external signees. Here, external persons, such as suppliers or tax accountants, can sign contracts and return them to you. But you have to break an egg to make an omelette. That's why we have compiled the most frequently asked questions on the subject of ‘digital identity’ and ‘jobs in general’ from external signees, along with their answers.

1. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) from external users

1.1. I have received an order to sign, but I do not yet have a digital identity. What can I do?

You are in the same position as many others, but that's not a big deal. Digital identities are issued by what are known as trust centres. This is done either digitally or on site. To have a digital identity issued, please register with one of the following trust providers:

1.2. What happens to my job after I sign it?

After you have digitally signed a document, we will first notify the constituent. As soon as the signing process has been completed by all parties involved, you will also receive a download link for the documents.

Please note: We do not send the documents as PDFs because there is a risk that a document may be too large to send by email. Therefore, you will ‘only’ receive a download link.

1.3. What happens if I refuse to sign a job?

We will then inform the constituent(s) of this by email. If necessary, the constituent will then take further steps, such as contacting you to discuss the reason for refusal.

1.4 What happens if I open a job in multiple browsers?

If you open a job in multiple browsers, the same thing happens as if you open a job in multiple tabs. Therefore, read on here to find out how to overcome this challenge.

1.5 What happens if someone else signs at the same time as you?

The request is blocked for security reasons. You will receive a message that you can continue with the signing process as soon as the request is available again (i.e. as soon as the second signer has completed the signing process). Read more here.

1.6 What happens if a tab is left open for an extremely long time?

If a tab is left open for an extremely long time, the session will continue as long as the browser keeps the tab active. As soon as this is no longer the case, the session will expire and you will have to start again from the beginning. This happens, for example, when the computer goes into sleep mode (with smartphones, etc.).
