[v4.49] Jobs with serial function (optional)

The serial function allows the person creating the job to send it to up to 10,000 recipients, while the person only needs to sign once. In return, each recipient receives his or her own document for signature, without other recipients having access to it.

Jobs with serial function can only be addressed to internal or external groups

The option that jobs can be created with the serial function must be activated in the process configuration by the administrator. 

There are two options:

• The serial function is pre-defined for one iteration in the process

• The option to allow users to manually activate the serial function is pre-defined in the process

We recommend being very careful when using this function. Make sure that the correct group is selected and that the correct document is added as an attachment. There is currently no way to cancel the entire process after a serial job has been sent. As an individual job is created for each recipient, each of these jobs must be cancelled manually.

It is possible to disable the email notifications for jobs with the serial function to keep your mailbox free in case of a large number of jobs. This must be set by the administrator in the process configuration.
