A-Trust update on signature iFrame
As an Austrian qualified trust service provider, A-Trust provides ID Austria, xIDENTITY and signature cards for qualified electronic signatures (QES), which are used via an embedded iFrame as in MOXIS.
To continue to guarantee smooth processes for signature card holders, there is now an additional button in the A-Trust signature iFrame.
What has changed in the A-Trust iFrame?
With the latest update, A-Trust has made the following changes:
End of automatic local signature card queries
The A-Trust iFrame no longer triggers automatic queries of local signature cards.New button for local signature cards
Signature cards that were previously connected automatically via local components must now be started actively via a button in the A-Trust iFrame (see Figure 1 [1]). Only after clicking does the iFrame attempt to communicate with local services.

Button is now always visible
The button for local map queries is permanently displayed (see figure 1 [1]), even though most users do not use this function in MOXIS.URL and iFrame adjustments
As part of the update, A-Trust is also changing the URL and size of the iFrame to support the new logic.
What does this mean for your MOXIS instance in connection with A-Trust?
The following applies to the use of A-Trust in MOXIS:
Standard signatures remain unchanged
Signatures in connection with A-Trust work as usual. No configuration effort in MOXIS
The changes are entirely on the A-Trust side. As soon as the update is active in the A-Trust live system, MOXIS will automatically use the updated iFrame.
Do you need to do anything?
The change only affects signature card users.
