[v4.53] Edit and rank rules for profiles

Content

The following article sets out the basic rules for qualified signature profiles.

1. General information on rules for qualified signature profiles

When you create a new profile, two new rules are automatically added to the end of the rule mask:

  • one for personal invitations and

  • one for group invitations.

If several profiles have been created, you can define which profile is used in which case.

1.1 Rules for personal invitations

Personal invitations apply to orders in which a personal placeholder is used. These placeholders are not related to a group.

1.2 Rules for group invitations

For rules for any or specific groups, you sign in a defined role, e.g. if you are a member of the ‘Management’ group. These groups are defined in advance. These are usually groups from your company's Active Directory (AD).

2. Creating, editing and sorting rules for qualified signature profiles

To create a rule for a qualified signature profile, click on the [New rule]-button (see figure 1 [1]).

To edit a specific rule for a qualified signature profile, click on the pencil icon at the end of the line containing the rule you want to edit (see figure 1 [2]). To sort a rule for a qualified signature profile, click on the arrow (up to move it up or down to move it down - see figure 1 [3]).

XiTip
Please note: A red exclamation mark (see excerpt from figure 1 above) indicates that this rule is overridden by a rule above it. To resolve this conflict, the order of the rules must be changed. The rules you have just created must be moved up so that they are applied automatically.
