[v4.52] Requirements for orders with a serial function
Content
With the serial function, a sender can send a document to up to 10,000 recipients, with the person themselves only having to sign once. In return, all recipients receive their own document for signing, without other recipients having access to it. The following article will provide you with more information on this topic.
XiTip
Jobs with a serial function can only be sent to internal or external groups. We recommend that you take great care when using this function. Make sure that the job is sent to the correct group and that the correct document is added as an attachment. This is because there is currently no way to cancel the entire process once the batch job has been sent. Please note: Since a separate job is created for each recipient, each of these jobs must be cancelled manually.
1. Prerequisite for orders with a serial function
To create orders with a serial function in MOXIS, you must fulfil the following conditions:
You have a MOXIS enterprise instance
The function must have been activated in the process configuration by your administrator.
XiTip
Email notifications can be disabled for jobs that use the batch function. This keeps your inbox clear when a large number of jobs are sent. To enable this feature, please contact your administrator.
There are basically two ways to execute the serial function in MOXIS:
The serial function is predefined for an iteration level in the process
The option to manually activate the series function is predefined in the process
1.1. The serial function as a predefined process in an iteration level
In this configuration of the serial function, it is already defined for an iteration level. It therefore cannot be changed when the job is created. At the respective iteration level, only groups can be added as recipients, depending on the nature of the serial function.
A job with a serial function is indicated by a checkmark next to ‘Serial function’ (see figure 1 [1]). Please note: The checkmark cannot be removed.

1.2. The series function for manual activation during order creation
If your administrator has configured the series function so that it can be manually activated, you can do so at any iteration level (see figure 2 [1]). However, as soon as you have made a selection, the option is disabled for all further iteration levels (see figure 2 [2]).
